It’s heartbreaking to hear about the decimation of swallows - and likely other migrating birds - in the last couple of days. National parks in Hungary estimate that 3/4 of the swallows congregating in the region have perished. Tracking on birds’ legs revealed that many of them were already on route to the south, having started in Poland and the Chech Republic. Devastatingly, experts warn that this year’s new swallow population of Hungary were also totally wiped out. Swallows are vulnerable to weather conditions, because they feed on insects they catch in flight. Four days of cold, miserable weather -sans insects - and they are gone. But losing a whole new swallow generation of a region, that’s a blow. Extreme weather conditions have become the norm. No seasons, only alternating days of winter and summer. 2.5 months of scorching heat in Europe, suddenly replaced by wintery weather, with Cyclon Boris also bringing a deluge of rain. And we still act surprised. How do we shift from manic reaction to creative anticipation? From ‘perceptual blindness to creative sensibility’(Cajate)? What does it entail to be the ‘positive arch’ (or the ‘hyperkeystone’ species) when it comes to the stunning wildlife in our crumbling ecosystem that migrate?

The people of Koralia until recently have been exclusionists, and still they do not believe that mixing races is a good idea. They do not suppress their racism, but at time passes the younger generations frown upon explicit racism , if not practiced segregation. Southern humans of Koralia have delicate characteristics, almost elflike, and dark blue to dark red hue to their skin. The more to the south the bluer. The only neighbor, Naddoo (see below), was an equally exclusive and rather dark skinned dwarven state with very few outside influence allowed in. The Icelandic government will announce its decision on whaling licences on June 4th. Hvalur hf.'s application for a licence to hunt fin whales, which are vulnerable to extinction, has been pending for almost four months. Now, Minister Bjarkey Olsen Gunnarsdóttir, is close to making a decision. This is a pivotal moment for marine conservation. Iceland has the opportunity to become a leader, demonstrating that sustainable practices and respect for marine life are the future. Ending commercial whaling in Iceland could lead the way for other nations, including Norway and Japan. The protection of whales and dolphins is a global responsibility. Happy Independence Restoration Day, Lithuania! For me, Lithuania has the vibe of a friend who is always ready to support you in everything. He doesn't know the outcome of your move; he knows just that life is a movement forward. Like: " Hey Lithuania, I'm going to open a kebab stall near the park. Worth? What do you think?" Lithuania:" Yeah, why not? If you are set. I have some pita bread, 100% organic. Will be my contribution to your stall for now."
