Next week I'll be in Prague for the European Congress on Catalysis, Europacat! One of the best conferences in the field. However, please be aware of the following health and safety information if you plan on attending.
Packing 3-5 extra pairs of socks and some sturdy headgear is highly recommended, because the contributions from my current and former group members are going to blow both your mind and your socks clean off.
Please come prepared if you plan to attend the following events:
1. Monday 28th, Poster CHAR-P-085, "Hard X-ray tomography reveals structural degradation and chemical composition of Pt/Rh gauze catalysts for NH3 oxidation", presented by Srashtasrita Das 🏆
2. Tuesday 29th, Short Lecture CHAR-SOL-23, "Hard X-ray Nanotomography Reveals Coking in Technical Catalysts", presented by Sebastian Weber 💫
3. Monday 28th, Poster CHAR-P-084, "Visualizing sulphur poisoning in structured honeycomb catalysts with hard x-ray nanotomography", presented by Shweta Sharma 🎆
You will likely not have seen results like this at any previous catalysis conference, but don't be afraid of the unknown! Come along, learn why X-ray tomography with synchrotron radiation is delivering small revolutions in the field with each new publication. Get inspired to try some of these methods for yourself. Get ready to learn.
Catalysis/chemical industry attendees - all the above are particularly relevant to your interests. You may especially need to pack additional underwear.
Hear us, know us. See you at Europacat!

9moThank you for one of the important messages of the panel: to make visible Hungarian R&D&I for EU projects. Let's do it!
