Summer storms can cause power outages, which can create many hazards. Generators can help keep food and medicines cold but must be used correctly to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. - NEVER use a generator inside your home - Keep the generator at least 20 feet away from doors and windows - Make sure carbon monoxide detectors are installed in your home
