Are you prepared in the event of a natural or manmade disaster? More intense hurricanes and a never ending wild fire season have become the norm. Chemical spills and industrial accidents near residential areas can cause you to have to evacuate your home without a moments notice. It could be days or even weeks before you are able to get back into your house. What are those things that you would most need over first few days following an emergency? Emergency First Aid kit (Including tourniquets, bandages, etc) Mask or Respirator Self-defense items Backup USB Battery and Charging Cables House & Car Key Copies Backup USB Drive with all your digital files, photos, documents Copies of Important Documents (ID's, passport, home title, etc) Cash Medications Knife Old Prescription Glasses Flashlight (with extra batteries) Miscellaneous little things relevant to you Taking some time now to be able to get a bag together with these basic items can make all the difference when you have to leave your home with only a minutes notice.
A disaster supplies kit can help protect you and your family in the event of a hurricane or strong storm. Now is the time to get prepared. #hurricanepreparedness
