The construction industry represents around 14% of worldwide gross domestic product and is responsible for producing 40% of total worldwide greenhouse gas emissions. Vivin Hegde, Mauricio Tessi Weiss and Juan N. founded San Francisco-based Zacua in 2022. 🇺🇸 Investcorp Launches $526m US Industrial Real Estate Venture with Leading Sovereign Wealth Funds - Investcorp has established a new $526m US industrial real estate venture with the backing of two unnamed "leading sovereign wealth funds". - Over the past two and a half years, Investcorp and the two sovereign wealth funds have committed over $1bn of equity to acquire industrial assets. - Investcorp's current US industrial real estate holdings comprise $5.1bn of assets across 43m sqft. - The new venture aims to significantly increase Investcorp's presence in the US industrial market. - Executive Chairman Mohammed Alardhi emphasized the trust of the sovereign wealth funds in Investcorp's real estate platform and teams. - Investcorp plans to expand its presence in the high-potential US industrial sector and explore additional growth opportunities. - Herbert Myers, co-head of real estate, US for Investcorp, highlighted the strong fundamentals of the US industrial sector and the attractiveness of last-mile investments. - Factors such as e-commerce, nearshoring trends, and US fiscal policy are driving record demand for last-mile facilities near growing population centers. - Yusef Alyusef, MBA, CME-1, Head of Distribution, stated that the U.S. industrial sector continues to exhibit strong fundamentals. - The assets targeted for this venture are expected to be largely insulated from the supply issues impacting big-box industrial warehouses. - According to Real Capital Analytics, Investcorp is among the top-5 largest cross-border buyers of U.S. real estate and U.S. industrial real estate over the past five full years.

The best way to attract a Venture Capital (VC) firm is with a Innovative technology that promises to solve a pressing industry problem (quality, cost to value, skilled labor production) whether that’s selling homes, or manufacturing and delivering them more profitably to a An attractive company must offer end market SOLUTION -specifics, measurable benefits, added value, cost savings with ( 2nd cost maintenance, energy, waste, insurance) that can be used to counter objections from careful investors. The company should educate and market that will provide affordable WORKFORCE housing that traditional national companies avoid seeking larger and more custom homes.
