That's why they've been awarded with the title of the UK's number one excavated supplier. Today I'll be chatting with Nick Willis, Croft Territory Sales Executive, to find out more about what the company's up to. This year's show. Welcome, Nick and thank you for making time to talk to us today. Thanks for coming and seeing us. So Hitachi have been exhibiting at Hillhead for more than 20 years. Can you tell us why you're exhibiting and what you hope to get out of it? Yeah, absolutely. I think it's an opportunity for us every couple of years to come and showcase our products, show the quarrying industry what we're about, the products that we're doing, new technologies, seven wheel loaders and excavators and really give people a feel for the products we can offer hands on. So I understand you've introduced a new model to your lineup of medium sized. Excavators, the ZX95U SUS B7. Can you tell us more? We can, yeah. So essentially that superseded the ZX-85 USB and USB-6. So new machine, turbocharged engine, more power, more stability, and essentially just giving the operator more space efficiency and comfort in the cab while still being a reliable and powerful machine. And I'd really love to know about Hitachi connected technology. What's so great about it? So it's actually connected technology is something we've been working on a lot over the years. The idea behind that is we can support the customer remotely. They have access to view their own products and support themselves as well with our assistance if needed. And telematics and technology growing, just combining it with the technology we already have inside the machines. Can you tell us about HCMC's mixed fleet telematics platform, CT Fleet Link? Absolutely, yeah. So it says now a standard system being installed on all of our machines up to five ton. It is mixed fleet telematics. So it has to come work on non attaching machines as well. Everything 910 and above. It can be fitted either retrospectively or we can do it during prep, during the purchase of your new machine. And the beauty of that is it's. The lifetime data and we can even push that through to your own portal of choice. Thank you so much for joining me today, Nick. We hope you have a great Hill Head 2024 pleasure. Thank you very much.
