What a superb couple of days at the Bisnow international life sciences and biotech conference - the discussion panels didn’t disappoint! The concluding panel raised some thought provoking points on site selection. Speakers such as Matthew Malone from Taconic, Robert Albro from King Street Properties and Timothy O'Connell from HOK to name but a few discussed at length the need for flexible space and the convergence of AI - highlighting there will continue to be a need for wet lab space and vivariums as we move into the next generation of scientific discovery to identify cures for long term illnesses. In addition the need for more sustainable operations while consideration into higher use of energy should be thought out.
