🌍 The IMEKO - International Measurement Confederation / World Congress 24 will take place in Hamburg from August 26 to 29. It is the largest international conference of this kind in the world. 📆 Tuesday will be particularly exciting from our perspective, as it will be about quantum technologies in metrology. Yesterday, our Innovation Specialist, Camila Betterelli Giuliano, PhD, and Project Leader, Alexander McMillan, were at the MFMET Workshop on Standardization of Test Methods in Microfluidics in Lisbon hosted by the Portuguese Institute for Quality - IPQ. 🤩 It was great to discuss with key stakeholders in the field about the next steps to make microfluidics more translatable across disciplines. 🤝 👉 From our side, we talked about our latest updates in user-friendly design and our next-generation flow sensor, Galileo. Our Innovation Specialist, Camila Betterelli Giuliano, PhD, is visiting the lab of Federico Vozzi, one of the collaborators of the H2020 Project ALTERNATIVE.💚 With them, we have developed a microfluidic platform for long-term perfusion of cardiac cells, to mimic the effects of pollution on them. 💪 Our main goal is to develop equipment that truly fulfills researchers' needs so it's important to be close to where the action happens! 🎯 This week Camila helped solve some bottlenecks and got valuable feedback on how to make things run more smoothly.
