Stormwater management is one key component of maintaining healthy waterways. With green infrastructure benefits to water quality, there are many programs available to cities to help reduce the costs of implementing nature based solutions for healthy storm water management. For pollutants like oils and nutrients that often flow to rivers through the storm drains, nature based solutions offer the perfect opportunity. Natura Solve is discussing what a project looks like with biochar and our bugs for stormwater management. Place biochar and Natura Solve bugs in bags and place along a drain. Pretty simple. The anticipated results are that the biochar will quickly hold onto the nutrients, oils, and various pollutants, while Natura Solve works a little slower to eliminate the pollution. Two innovations coming together to offer a significant impact. #opportunities #nature #solution #innovations #funding #waterquality #remediation https://lnkd.in/gYCWXvGD

No two utilities are exactly alike. Which is why AMI success requires personalization…and best practices. In this power packed webinar, El Paso Water and Milcrofton Utility District join Kamstrup to discuss how they are leveraging AMI to: -Prioritize utility operations and daily work tasks to maintain its water network. -Identify leaks faster – reducing cost per identified leak and reducing non-revenue water. -Assess the need for maintenance and infrastructure investments. Even though El Paso Water and Milcrofton Utility District are very different utilities, serving communities of differing sizes in differing regions of the US, each with their distinct challenges and stakeholders, you'll find that certain overlaps exist. Their experience and advice can help you work through most any obstacle 👉 Register here: https://lnkd.in/ebjrCM2M 📅 Date: February 20, 2024 🕒 Time: 11am EST
