Sip, Savor, and Discover: Spirits Unveiled with Our Brand Ambassadors The Blend by Suntory Global Spirits is the premier resource for hospitality professionals. Our mission is to inspire, educate, and foster a dynamic community within the hospitality industry through engaging events and rich digital content. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new educational video series featuring Suntory Global Spirits brands and our distinguished Brand Ambassadors: Rhianna Lucas, Maker’s Mark National Diplomat, James Buntin, The House of Suntory Ambassador, and Alice Newport, James B. Beam Distilling Co. Brand Ambassador. This series, crafted in collaboration with our ambassadors, aims to enlighten and engage the Australian trade on our iconic spirit portfolios, including Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam, Basil Hayden, The House of Suntory, Suntory TOKI Whisky, HAKU Vodka, and ROKU Gin. It’s designed to increase the visibility and recognition of our brands and ambassadors within the trade community. Since its initial release on our social channels, the first video has organically achieved : - Played 2,362 times - Saved 8 times - Reached 1,512 accounts, with 53.5% being non-followers of @theblend_au By collaborating with our brand ambassadors, we’ve enhanced our social media visibility through shared stories, collaborations, and tagging key accounts. In just 5 days, we’ve expanded our reach beyond our existing community, bringing Suntory Global Spirit brands to the forefront of hospitality education in a fun and enlightening way. Social media is a powerful tool for communication and information, and we focus on creating engaging educational content for our social media accounts and YouTube channel. Our 'snackable' content (short, easily digestible videos) combines lifestyle shots with interview-style frames to inform and inspire in an accessible format. Our goal is to make education and inspiration as accessible as possible, posing the question: Would you rather engage with videos on social media or seek information from a website? Can "Quality" become a positioning element for the brand? : This was the question asked to me in one of the webinars in which I was one of the panelists. "An honest brand has a strong connection to a real product or service", I replied. So how do we use Quality as a branding tool? I continued with a narrative. The best example is Absolut vodka. People see Absolut as an advertising success but what people fail to notice is the powerful story behind it. Absolut story begins 400 years ago and every drop of it comes from Ahus, a medieval village in the wheat fields of southern Sweden. For your information, Ahus-Sweden is to Absolut vodka what Champagne is to champagne and cognac is to cognac region. Ahus is the vodka county; home to the very best. People contribute Absolut Vodka's success through its media campaign, strong imagery, associations with events, etc. But on the contrary, Absolut vodka marketing has focused on PR and editorial material in the newspapers. They evolved their visual identity and packaging, modernising whilst maintaining key brand elements. This strategy transformed declining sales into 3% growth globally. WARC - 73% of people who like bacon or sausages for breakfast are heavy tea drinkers. GWI - Yorkshire Tea created a humorous summer anthem and music video to stay culturally relevant and appeal to younger consumers without alienating older ones. The campaign highlighted the British habit of packing tea bags for holidays, aiming to keep drinking black tea relevant across generations. Contagious - Marketing science can guide tea brands by identifying Category Entry Points, helping increase mental availability and market share through targeted strategies addressing the why, where, when and with whom of tea consumption. Trajectory All of these were quickly retrieved using premium secondary sources. The great advantage of using these is that the data is quick to find, is way more granular than anything you'll find that's freely available, and is often more current. My insights team at Publicis was always small in number; I considered having the right knowledge partners as like having extra members of staff, especially when you have access to their analysts and experts. If your clients operate in a variety of sectors, especially B2C, you'll be a step ahead of your pitch rivals if you have sources like these.
