🚫 Not everyone can (or should) be a disruptor. Red Bull's latest moment in Chicago (link in the comments) has me thinking about challenger brands. Marketing industry comparisons are often drawn to the incredibly visible challenger marketing done by titans like Red Bull, Burger King and Liquid Death. The reality is those brands are the exception and amazing case studies of what you can do when your brand is well established, expertly positioned & (likely) you have an incredible budget. Most brands will never get to (and shouldn’t) act the same way. Context & brand matter – without them, the execution (and allllllll that planning) fall flat.
