This morning, we welcomed our first Boeing 787-9 aircraft in Honolulu. "As we journey across the Pacific and take people to and from Hawaiʻi on our planes, it is in the same spirit and tradition of Hawaiian voyaging. Our kinship with voyaging is rooted in our past, grounds us in our present and guides us toward our future. This connection is reflected in the design of our Boeing 787-9s, which further this effort to mingle with the stars and look to the constellations for direction as wayfinders often do in the canoe." - Debbie Nakanelua-Richards, director of community and cultural relations at Hawaiian Airlines.

I’ll keep my comments to my self… not wanting to be an “open door.”😏

All of us at 360 are excited for the nonstop flights in May Freon SLC to HNL to begin, we have been patiently waiting the last 25 years with offices and workforce in both locations. Love and Aloha from your friends at https://www.360elevated.com/

❤️ What I LOVE about Hawaiian Airlines is that my vacation starts with the flight...not when I land! ❤️

Awesome to have completed flight testing for 787-9 on the Big Island (Kona) and for you to add it to your family of airplanes! Much aloha 🌺

If Boeing could fix their quality problems this would be a dreamlike experience https://www.boeing.com/commercial/787#family

Good choice, a pricey airplane, but it will pay by itself many times over in the long haul. 😊

Congratulations! Please let us know when you are ready for docking to support this new aircraft!

Somewhere, out on the world-wide web, there is a site (maybe FlightIn), where the 787-9 aircraft has just posted a proud announcement of landing the new gig with Hawaiian Airlines, and on its feed page, FAA certifications obtained by its family, friends, and colleagues scroll past :D

Never change Hawaiian 🌺 Also, don’t let Alaska bully you around. I know it’s inevitable at this point, but stand your ground where it counts. Too many employees rely on HAL. Awesome that you have the 787!
