Double Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Political Science| Master's Degree in International Relations Junior Policy Advisor|Junior Project Manager
For those of you who follow me, I would like to open up a discussion about how to apply for a job. Ever since I started my professional career, I have developed many questions for companies, organizations, and other working sectors who are hiring candidates. So, first, when you go to the description of the position, you might see in the requirements that you need at least years of experience (it might not be your case). I remember one time I applied for a position in which I needed 2 years of experience (which I already had), but they said they wouldn't follow my candidacy because I had too much experience. So, I would like to ask this question. If the company needs a person with two years' experience and I have three years experience, what's the problem then? Open to answer the question.

Have you ever been contacted by a recruiter who clearly didn't take the time to look at your profile or resume? It happens to me more often than I’d like. While ignoring them may seem like the easiest solution, I have found that responding politely can be more satisfying. In a recent encounter with a recruiter, they were offered a "top-tier systems engineer" position with a "competitive salary and benefits package." The recruiter also boasted about a "dynamic and supportive environment" and "diverse projects and industries" to gain exposure. However, I declined the offer without even asking for the salary range. While it may be frustrating to receive these types of messages, I think it is important to remember the value of a thoughtful and personalized approach. Have you ever had a similar experience with recruiters? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Turn your application form into a IT specialists magnet 💡 According to a recent Bitkom study (https://lnkd.in/de9d7gdd), the shortage of IT specialists is getting worse. "𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝟮𝟲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁) [𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀] 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗧 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀." Therefore, with a generally scarce supply of applications, every applicant should be welcomed with open arms, i.e. the application form should be as simple, modern and target group-specific as possible. If you don't do this, sought-after specialists will be gone after the first 2-3 clicks - after all, there is plenty on the market.

Reviewing 500 candidates who apply for a job is not easy. But some of them make the process go faster 🤣 After reviewing all the candidates who have applied so far, I have found 3 who will get the challenge. There are still 2 spots available, so you have time to apply this week. Here’s how you can get one of those spots: 1️⃣ Check the job description on our page. 2️⃣ Read the job description (from my estimation, more than 70% don't read the announcement). 3️⃣ Send an email that you think will convince me to have a call with you. 3.1. Add a meme or a joke 😉
