Dumbbell standing heel raises and dumbbell seated heel raises are two amazing exercises to strengthen your calf. Standing raises target the gastrocnemius, the larger, visible calf muscle. Seated raises focus more on the soleus muscle, deep within your calf. One important tip is to lift your heel as high as possible (Full ROM) and squeeze at the top for 1 second to fully active your calf muscles (You should be able to feel it) before coming back down. Aim for 20-30 reps for 3 sets. You may walk a little funny the next day if you do it right. #calves #beanachiever #achievefitness
