yet2 had a great time volunteering at More Than Words. We sorted through more than 1,400 books, working alongside the young adult coordinators who work at More Than Words “to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.” More Than Words works with some of the most vulnerable young adults in Greater Boston: those who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school. At More Than Words the young adults have a paying job that teaches them job skills, interpersonal skills, etc. while receiving focused support to ensure they persist in school and create plans for their future. #givingback #volunteering

How does it give different flavored coffees? Is somebody from another room sitting and pouring it as we press the button? These are the questions asked by school students when they saw a coffee making machine in an IT company. Thanks to Maveric Systems Limited, who opened their office for Govt school children to explore it as part of our 'Kids @ Corporate' initiative. 30 Govt school kids from Class 6 to 8 stepped into an IT park for the first time. One, two, three, there's the fourth, and they kept counting the 50 offices inside DLF IT Park as they moved toward the Maveric office. It is just 1 day but a lifetime of memories for the children. The kids left the place with a dream to come back and work in a place like this. A big thanks to Maveric and their employees for volunteering to spend a day with kids.
