Each year, our SLT (Senior Leadership Team) get together for an offsite to review our current state and map what we want the next 12-24 months to look like at TAG. We held the session yesterday at CUB Club of United Business’s Melbourne headquarters in the CBD. The session kicked off with us writing down what we want our team, our clients and ourselves to say about TAG when out in their respective communities. My key takeaways: **Planning 12-24 ahead allows us the space to be proactive and then work backwards to map out the small changes we need to start implementing now to achieve our desired state. **SLT alignment is critical to TAG's success. We're a bunch of big personalities & the more aligned we are, the quicker we can focus on the tactics & doing required in executing the game plan Looking forward to communicating our key findings with the wider team and rolling out some exciting initiatives together. Thank you Joel Beath Zoe Goodhardt ☕ Lexie Mand Alon Abraham Andrew Moroney

Loved our leadership team away day yesterday with Harmonie Limb, Sarah Giles, Holly Gray, Daniel Routt and Rob Wood, feeling very lucky to work with such talented people. Thank you Phil Walsh for the excellent facilitation on the why's and what for's of a good team and how to have couragous conversations. My key aways? 1. Building trust is absolutely key and the foundation of a high performing team 2. Don't underestimate the importance of celebrating achievements and do this whenever you can. 3. The importance of leaning into courageous conversations with curiosity to help get the right outcomes 4. We really are greater together than the sum of our parts.

The Challenge/Stability Matrix from Herding Tigers: Be the Leader that Creative People Need: "Your creative team needs both challenge and stability in order to thrive...left without one (or both) for too long, the team will eventually begin to wither." This matrix is an easy visual to diagnose where your team is at and how to strengthen their ability to produce.

Servant leadership is a noble and effective way of leading others, by putting the needs and interests of the team first.
This is powerful to start off your week. Be that servant leader your team is counting on it!

Watching Southgate and his team over the past two weeks has made me think. We can all learn a lesson or two from it. 1) Sometimes, no matter how good we think we are, going back to basics isn’t a bad thing. Doing the fundamentals right is as important as the flare or pazzaz. 2) Your team’s motivation has a HUGE impact on results. Be a leader and lead with confidence, no throwing people under the bus! 3) How you manage your team and how adaptive you can be, can determine where you end up. In essence, if you aren’t taking note and lessons from this, you’re missing out!

Came across this picture yesterday and this picture speaks volume… Story time…lol so at the World Championships in Budapest, USA’s Anita Alvarez sank to the bottom of the pool. Looking across the deck, and noticing she was under way too long, her coach, Andrea Fuentes immediately dove in after her fully clothed, pulling her to safety. If Andrea would not have noticed, she would have drowned. What do you think about this? This resonated with me…. When a particular star performer on your team no longer performs as much, do you even notice and when you do, what move do you make? Just as Andrea moved into immediate action to rescue Anita, attentive leaders embody a similar spirit of vigilance and duty to their team's well-being and growth. We have to be committed to our team's success, and this might mean stepping out of your comfort zone to do the needful. So let me ask you, what strategies do you have in place to boost your team performance? Struggling with building and maintaining a structure that shows your people you care and a structure that consistently drives them to success? Let’s chat in the DM if you need some support or advice.
