One of our current projects at Barangaroo for Lendlease is in the media. If you look deeper than the title, you will learn that this significant site in Sydney is undergoing an impressive transformation below the ground. The Barangaroo precinct has many transport links, including rail, ferries, buses and the new Metro. Thorough studies of the activities and building use by the tenants of the three towers, shows that there is greater demand for people who commute on foot. Many of the tenants use wellness services in the area, and enjoy running around the harbour, with an overall diminished need for storing as many bikes. The readjustment of amenity was necessary to get the most out of the building for the greater good. We look forward to unveiling our new vision for the end-of-trip facilities for the International Towers. Well said, this project presents and incredible opportunity to reimagine what an ‘end of trip’ looks like; with the design laser focused on all possible user groups. I’m excited to see the outcome! You may even create the perfect business case to re-set the design criteria for these spaces going forward.

No Way !! I spend countless hours with the design team trying to accommodate those bike stores during design development

I recall there being acres of unused bike space and very little space for people, lockers and showers.

Walking is better for you than biking anyway.
