Just being mesmerized by the neon sky tonight. Brb. 😜 Aside from being very well versed in luxury beauty products, I also have managed sales for fashion and jewelry. I’ve greatly grown my network in the beauty industry, however, if you also have any connections in fashion and jewelry, please hook a sister up. Although I’d really love my next role to be multi unit or regional, I’ve also opened up more to Store Manager and Boutique Director. Locations I’m open to: Minnesota, Las Vegas, Florida or remote. Who am I? Esthetician ✨ Beauty guru ✨ Educator ✨ Sales Manager ✨ Product Demonstrator ✨ Account Executive ✨ Multi Unit Leader ✨ Motivator ✨ Quite honestly, a Jill of all freaking trades. If you want a passionate, empathetic, goal driven, detail oriented leader who can manage over 100 associates and multi-unit, I'm your girl. #luxury #fashionindustry #beauty #jewelry #beautybrands #prestige #dior #chanel #prada #gucci #lvmh #louisvuitton #tiffanyandco #alexandani #opentowork #opentoconnect

So now that I know my boss won’t be blindsided by this announcement, here goes: I’m moving to Morgantown, WV. Currently, it seems like late August is the time frame I’m looking at. Truth by told, I’m conflicted in my feelings. I’ve worked the Jewelry department at Macy’s Huntington Mall for the past 3 years, which has been a rollercoaster of product allocation, payroll budget, and mixed shrink issues that have taught me an insane amount of useful lessons in taking ownership of a department, even if that meant I didn’t have the “title”. I’m currently seeking my next opportunity. I’m a resourceful, driven individual who is constantly trying to find new ways to build successes within my work zone. At my current role, I consider myself an integral part of the growth we’ve seen. To express my faith in myself, I’m going to share a condensed tidbit of my focuses/goals/accomplishments I had within my 3 years in jewelry. Year One: -Operational compliance (damages, RTV, transfers..literal years worth) -Understanding the margins -Total standards reset -Product allocation changes tying into product maximization -Redirecting product flow -Product knowledge product knowledge, product knowledge -Deep cleaning Year Two: -Team building -Sales coaching -Asset protection standards -Assisting with other sales -Brand building -Collateral changes Year Three (past 14 months): -New Full-Time colleague that lasted longer than a month or so, therefore complete retraining. I advise newcomers that jewelry takes months to feel fluent in the processes. It’s not meant for everyone, I’ve accepted that. -Bigger, better numbers -Client relationship building (Landed me a personal best in our most recent LeVian show) -On trend to meet personal department volume goals (more than the company plan for us) -New product being allocated to our location -Consistently selling products via transfers. -Encouraging my coworkers to find their weak spots and come up with ways to bridge the disconnect. Usually a product knowledge or process knowledge issue. -Care plan conversion is #2 in the division -Fiscal year 2023 was 12% -April was up roughly 73% I know I’m capable of leading this form of change anywhere. I know I’d even be capable of this amongst a group of stores. I know the job market is turbulent right now, but if you’re looking for dedication and growth, I bet I can help you find it. I’d love a travel job, but that’s not a requirement. Please let me know if you have any contacts in the Morgantown area I can connect to, or if someone from Macy’s wants to offer me a travel job, I’d be open to that as well. Tagging my division leader Chris Krenek in case he magically has an open position that would work for me.

Currently, a MSc student at Kyushu University, BSc (Hons) Microbiology (1st), 2018-2022 Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang
Good day dear #connections! It's been a while since I've posted here on #linkedin. I've been working as a Sales Associate at E Spec Boutique Sdn. Bhd. which is a branch of Yes Optical Sdn. Bhd. for a few months now. Throughout my employment, I've learned various things including differences between lenses and how to cut lenses to fit customers' frames. Lens cutting is one of the most #daunting things I've learned during my time as a sales associate at an #optical shop. The first few mistakes I made almost caused me to stop taking on the task all together as I was worried of the customers' satisfaction and implications of having to order new lenses. However, I believe that #practice makes perfect. I didn't give up and continued on practicing. Finally, with the help and encouragement from my manager, I felt confident to carry out the task after multiple overly edged lenses and bloody fingers. Now, lens cutting has become a shared task between me and my outlet manager, Ms. Lee Yue Shi. The process of lens cutting requires a lot of #focus and #precision to make sure the customer's axis for those who have #astigmatism and eye position are correctly aligned with the lens' focus point. The following video shows a glimpse of how lenses are cut to fit your frame. I hope it can provide some information on lens cutting. Thank you and have a nice day! #opticalshop #lenscutting #salesassociate #somethingnew

It Takes TWO and of course Fern
In case you missed it, we introduced you to our lovely sales and marketing team at the end of January. Here are some more insights from Fern O'Shea, our Business Development Executive: 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵 𝘛𝘞𝘖? In the companies I've worked before, it's sometimes been difficult to get input from the leadership team. That's definitely not the case here at TWO. If we have a question or a problem, we can always go straight to Barry or Jon - we don't need to go through multiple people to get hold of them. It makes you feel heard, and it makes it so much easier for us to do our jobs! 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘛𝘞𝘖 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨-𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘧𝘧? Everyone knows each other, and you do genuinely feel like part of a family. I've seen fast staff turnovers in my previous sales roles but this doesn't usually happen at TWO because our employees genuinely love working here. 𝘛𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘶𝘴 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘣𝘣𝘺. I mentioned in the article that I love creative face painting and special effects makeup. I used to do Halloween makeup for friends, family, and some clients, but I realised eventually that I prefer experimenting on my own, as a hobby. I do have a TikTok account though, where I share tips and tricks and some examples of my projects. #twoservices #staffprofile https://lnkd.in/eYkBCw6B

"I was quite the class clown as a kid, always up to some mischief in the back of the classroom. I did some crazy things, like jumping from the third floor, just for the thrill of it. Of course, that landed me in trouble with the principal. Through all of this, my parents were my rock, supporting me no matter what. Life took a tough turn after I finished high school. Money was tight for my family, and we faced a terrible blow with my brother passing away not long after my sister's wedding, I had to grow up quickly. In 2011, I started working in a garment business. Looking back, I'm amazed at how much I've grown since then. Fast forward to 2018, I joined CaratLane Fulfilment Centre in Mumbai, starting with a simple job – opening boxes. My manager saw something in me from the start and gave me a chance to do more. I moved up to handling the stock and even helped fix some issues in our team and with our suppliers. It felt good to make things work. As time went on, I got even more responsibilities. I took charge of the Reverse department. That meant dealing with how things come back from customers and coordinating stuff getting sent out again. It wasn't just that, though. I was also in charge of talking to our suppliers and dealing with the ups and downs of diamond prices. Weirdly enough, it was the challenges that got me most excited – they were like puzzles, and I liked solving them. Now, here I am, leading a team of 34 folks in different cities – Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi. It's a big leap from where I started, and it makes me proud. When I'm not caught up in work, I find a lot of happiness in the roar of sports bikes. But even with all that thrill, nothing beats the happiness I feel with my son. I married my childhood sweetheart after being in love for 11 years, and spending time with them is the best. So, that's my story – from opening boxes to taking on big challenges. Each step, each obstacle, they've all shaped me into who I am today. And I'm not stopping – I'll keep pushing forward, one challenge at a time." - Sushil Jadhav, Senior Executive, Sourcing Team. What's your favourite colour? I met our new commercial manager at Carvansons - Fragrance Creation today. When I got home and sat down with my seven year old daughter and asked her how her day was. Apparently the girls fell out with boys over who got to play which games. She then asked how my day was and I said I had a meeting with our new commercial manager. She sat for a second. You could see the cogs turning. "What did you talk about?" "Lots of important stuff and how we can make things better" I said. She sat again for a second and then asked. "Important stuff. So what's his favourite colour?" I was stumped. We'd had an hour long meeting, talking about sales and marketing plans and never once did I think to ask his favourite colour or lets be honest, anything personal about himself. I love how kids can suddenly remind you that work is important but sometimes so is knowing someones favourite colour. So Shaun Warrington, important question, what is your favourite colour? 🤣 #sales #marketing #people

From 1,400 to 44,000 - How Color Street's Innovative Sales Model Transformed the Nail Industry. Have you ever been stuck in traffic, just like Fa Park, the founder and CEO of Color Street? Picture this: a young music student, dreaming of a career in opera, observing a woman meticulously polishing her nails in the back of a cab. The struggle? The time-consuming, messy process of traditional nail polish. Fa saw a problem, and that problem was his "aha" moment. Fast forward twenty years, and Fa faced a mountain of challenges. Did you know it took him seventeen years to bring his vision to life? Imagine him buying nail polish from drug stores, applying it on paper, and drying it with a hairdryer. He even scavenged five-gallon pails of discarded polish from local manufacturers. Talk about dedication and persistence. Fa's dedication paid off when he created Color Street's revolutionary nail polish strip, an all-in-one marvel in 2017. The company reported revenue of $119M, and in 2022 their revenue was $320M. Now, imagine if your sales process could be as streamlined and efficient as applying nail polish. Color Street's success story teaches us that finding a better way and investing time in innovation can transform a tedious process into a smooth, mess-free operation. My Big Takeaway: The paramount importance of having a sales system, just like Fa's meticulous process in creating his nail strips. Whether it's a sales strategy, leadership, or a well-defined system, these elements are crucial for business growth, profitability, and making a real impact. Just as Fa's vision changed the nail polish industry, having a structured sales approach can revolutionize your company. Join the www.CEOSalesHuddle.com for sales growth and business strategies. You really can’t get away with an average level of service these days 🤔 It’s so true in all walks of life. So last week I was getting my haircut 💇🏻♂️ at my barbers 💈 I’d noticed a few differences, more expensive products, Jo Malone after shave, more drinks offered, just a great experience 🫡 He had upped his game 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I asked him why he had done this? He said he had to 😯 Everyday new barbers open up and how does average Joe on the high street know that his is the best shop? Answer is they don’t. I mean I do, I’ve been going for over a year and the same can be said for a recruitment agency. How does a new client or prospect know that you are the agency to use?? 😒 Does saying you are ‘niche’ or an ‘industry specialist’ really cut it? I’m not sure that it does, I think you need more ❎ But maybe I’m wrong??? Who thinks you have to give your customers more now? And even if you don’t want to, do your customers now expect it? #odro #service #customerexperience
