This is RORO Vessel belonging to NYK Company but it is originally owned by an Israeli investor NYK it’s a Japanese Company and this vessel the right to operate only within his large fleet Also many of the shipping lines in worldwide the same case have the some of his vessels owned and the some vessels rented from any international companies, maybe Israeli 😜 So all the shipping lines now will change its sailing route to the cape of good hope instead of the red sea or be satisfied with its voyages in south to the far east and in north to Europe only without linking them on a one single route and this will be for Israeli vessels nationality only Which will subsequently affect the incoming from the Suez Canal also. The Arc 7 #LNG carrier Nikolay Basov is out on its first sea trials off the coast of South Korea, as evidenced by ship-tracking data (see attached screenshot from marinetraffic.com). The Nikolay Basov is the second of three Arc 7 ice-class #LNGCs built by #HanwhaOcean (formerly #DSME) for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (#MOL) for service on the #NOVATEK-led #ArcticLNG2 Project. It is also the fifth of six Arc 7s in total being built at the South Korea shipyard for #ALNG2. The other three were part of a now cancelled order from Russian state shipping group #Sovcomflot but the vessels were completed anyway by #HanwhaOcean at its own cost, with a view to selling them to a new operator. Speculation has been rife recently as to the fate of these six specialized #LNGCs, with many suggesting that they will not see service with #ALNG2 (given #sanctions targeting the project and Russia's #LNG sector in general).

Russia's #Atomflot shares this piece to shed light on the importance of #icebreaking capabilities at the Arctic port of #Sabetta, home of #YamalLNG. The caption below the two images (available via the link below) notes: The maneuvers of #Rosatomflot's port #icebreaker “Ob” in the waters of the port of #Sabetta may seem strange, but there is an explanation for them. The ship makes “circles” for a good reason, not just for a beautiful photo. The captain of the diesel-electric #icebreaker “Ob”, Vitaliy Pesin, explains that a visiting #LNG carrier will enter the port via the approach channel (a narrow fairway 500 meters wide) and will moor to the berth on its port side. After it completes the loading of #LNG, the vessel must turn around in the port waters with its bow towards the exit (when moored to the berth, its bow faces towards the shore). This maneuver would be impossible without preparing a turning basin in the ice with the help of the #icebreaker "Ob" (breaking the ice cover of the port water area of a sufficient size so that the #LNG carrier can turn around on the spot). See the photograph. The #icebreaker breaks the ice into a fine slush to ensure the safest exit of the #LNG carrier from the port.
