Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust’s Post

Congratulations to Dr Vishakha Tripathi who is the first consultant genetic counsellor to be appointed an Honorary Fellow of the Academy for Healthcare Science. The fellowship was given in recognition of Dr Tripathi’s contribution to her profession and to wider healthcare science. Dr Tripathi says: “It feels like a personal moment of breaking the glass ceiling for me, but more so for all colleagues in genomic medicine and genetic counselling who tirelessly champion why what we do is important and how much it matters to our patients. I am grateful for the honour and also quite emotional if I am honest and hope it inspires many.” #TeamGSTT #HealthcareScience #GeneticCounsellor
