Tech for tech’s sake. That type of thinking just doesn’t work. It will only waste your money and your time. Selecting what tech you use should be simple: it should better your business. In hotels, that means enhancing guest experiences, reducing pressure on staff, and optimising revenue while minimising costs. When you’re reviewing your hotel’s tech stack (and, just like changing your smoke detectors or changing your toothbrush at home, a business review should be a regular occurrence!), consider: • What solution will make my hotel more money?  • What can deliver me more – and happier – customers throughout the business?  • What will make our operations more efficient? When was the last time you reviewed your hotel’s technology, ensuring it is not only fit for purpose but integrates with all the other essential systems you use?
