The Nippon Travel Agency (NTA) sponsored the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Training for its team and local stakeholders in Tokyo, Japan last month. GSTC Trainer Kazuhiro Arai, Representative of Daisetsuzan Nature School, led the three-day training in Japanese. Karla Eggelton, CEO of Cook Islands Tourism Corporation, hailed the GSTC destination assessment as a pivotal step in the nation’s sustainable tourism journey:  “As mana tiaki, we are incredibly proud of our beautiful home and love sharing it with visitors.
