Love when life brings you organic moments of connection. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of having dinner and a great conversation with Cutler Andrews, the Chief Experience Officer of Emory University. We connected not only on our ideas about the future of organizational culture and consumerism but also as humans. The concept of the human experience is foundational in our work—his in #HigherEducation and mine in #Healthcare.

Building the platform for healthcare professionals to collaborate, communicate, innovate and make the world a healthier place TOGETHER at ZNA. JOIN the movement to transform the healthcare system from WITHIN!
Flying over California and Oregon back home to Seattle, I can see the big picture. The mountain ranges, rivers, lakes, and urban areas take shape below. ✈️ In healthcare, we often get lost in the details and small, incremental changes and miss the big picture. If we map out our current system and see where the gaps are, we can implement solutions that address foundational inequities and challenges in access to care. I’m a big picture thinker. I enjoy zooming out and seeing the system as a whole. 🌍 That’s why it’s important to work together and share our unique perspectives and ideas and implement impactful solutions for a healthier future. #perspectivesinhealthandsocialcare #healthcareinnovation #collaborationinhealthcare

Head of Talent Acquisition at DHU Healthcare | Talent Acquisition Leadership | Employer Brand Advocate | Recruitment SME | Veteran | Mentor
I saw a fantastic post earlier today explaining how we’re in a crazy (and probably privileged!) period, where we have 5 generations all coexisting in the same workplace… From Traditionalists to Gen Z, a plethora of lived experience, knowledge, intuition and the need for optionality. So, how the heck do we define what sets us apart?! What the differences are between us and the next business? The reason you should follow motivators like Stephen Bateman, sector leaders like Pauline Hand and clinical pioneers like Paul Tilson..? We’re on the verge of unveiling our inaugural #evp here at DHU Healthcare . A time where we might trip and fall, a time where we might not get it perfect the first time, and a time where we push the boundaries of healthcare, but definitely a time where we showcase the inspirational talent we have the privilege to work with on a daily basis! The next couple of months are going to be another step we take in driving: #sectorsustainabiliy, #healthcareinnovation and #inspiringstories San Gosal Sarah Turner-Saint MCIPR Zahra Leggatt FCIPD Emily Edwards #employeevalueproposition #talentacquisition #healthcarecareers

Cultural Arts Program Development Expert "Cultivating Community Through Illuminating the Richness of Cultural Heritage"
Cultural Arts Professionals in the Caribbean American space do exceptional work. While operating in the neighborhood we illuminate the brilliance of tradition bearers that share our stories. This year I look forward to making more impact with the work that we do individually and collectively. On my agenda are Cultural Arts Competency and Community Wellbeing. The work will demonstrate how “Culture” can change the footprints in for instance healthcare by fostering novel approaches that address social determinants. Cultural competence in healthcare is essential for providing effective and inclusive care to diverse patient populations. It encompasses a combination of awareness, knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors that result in the best possible outcomes for both patients and providers By implementing culturally sensitive healthcare practices, organizations can improve patient access, address social determinants of health, and eliminate disparities in care This includes strategies such as diversity management, leadership commitment, cross-cultural communication skills, and integrating cultural arts into care as a social prescription. Research has shown that culturally thoughtful healthcare can lead to cost savings, increased access to appropriate care, and improved patient outcomes While there is no widely accepted and definitive conceptual cultural competency framework, existing reviews have examined various types of interventions to improve cultural competency, such as training programs for health practitioners. Overall, cultural competence is a critical component of healthcare that is increasingly recognized and prioritized in the medical field. #artsandculture #artsandhealth #culturalintelligence #socialgood #culturematters
