I was listening to a podcast recently and during a discussion about #retirement, they mentioned that saving $400 per month at a 10% return over 50 years would result in an account balance of approx. $2.5 million. I checked the math, and it works. If we reduce the rate to 7% and reduce the monthly contribution to $200, you would still end up with a balance of approx. $1 million at the end of 50 years. If you start saving early and invest in a low-cost, diversified stock market index fund, becoming a #millionaire isn't out of the question.
