Whats your plan to help fix this? 🤔 How about you… 💡 Implement Carbon Pricing Introduce MASSIVE carbon taxes to make polluting unaffordable and thereby incentivise clean energy. 💡 Subsidise Renewable Energy Provide proper subsidies and incentives for businesses to use solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources and actually make them not just more competitive than fossil fuels but impossible not to choose. (You’ll need some more infrastructure fast btw). 💡Ban Fossil Fuel Subsidies Remove ALL subsidies for oil, coal, and gas industries to discourage their use and redirect funds to effective green initiatives that are big enough to make a difference fast. 💡 Invest heavily in Public Transport Expand and improve green public transport networks to reduce reliance on cars and cut down on emissions. 💡 Enforce Strict Emissions Implement and enforce zero tolerance emissions standards for industries and vehicles across the entire country. 💡 Mandate Energy Efficiency Promote energy efficiency standards in buildings, appliances, and industrial processes with zero tolerance for anyone who refused to comply. 💡 Invest in Reforestation Invest in massively large-scale reforestation and afforestation projects to help increase CO2 absorption from the atmosphere. (Cornwall could do with a bunch of trees for example). 💡 Focus on sustainable and regenerative Agriculture Support. Force all the retailers to stop selling products that haven’t used regenerative agricultural best practices in their supply chains. Force them to only sell products that have helped reduce methane emissions and increase carbon sequestration in soils and also our oceans. ASAP! 💡 Lead by Example Transition government operations and buildings to renewable energy and sustainable practices to set a standard for others. Hmmm 🤔 Maybe it’s finally time to get rid of Westminster and move into the 21st Century with an eco building, digital infrastructure, remote working that works for MPs, get rid of the commons and the lords, finally sort out the way we vote! Why not weekly polls online? Why not have a digital Government that actually helps people learn about the issues and be fully appraised of the facts before they vote on referendums etc? 💡 Collaborate Internationally And finally, please can you actually engage in international collaboration and sort out the agreements that will actually tackle climate change on a global scale? We need to share our technology, our knowledge and our incredible intellectual resources with the world and help fix the future for our next generations. Ever since the beginning, changes induced Evolution and Evolution revealed changes in Nature. We all have been undergoing changes from climate change to Artificial Intelligence. Hence the society today has become so fragile that sometimes we are doing things now, that are poised to harm us in the future, yet we keep on doing them every day and every night. What harm an uncontrolled AI poses, equality of threat is observed from climate change. So, we are poised as world leaders and world leading commanders in science, technology and what not. Yet we are so fragile and underrated in having a common sense of stop doing what harms us ultimately. Meet Daniel Dennett, who observed that when we are learning rocket science, sometimes we forget the basic intuition of placing the rocket in the right height, hemisphere and vicinity. AI as a secret alien threat Harris explains the hypothetical scenario of receiving a message from an advanced alien civilization and the impending arrival of super-intelligent AI. He posits that despite the overwhelming evidence pointing towards the inevitability of AI surpassing human intelligence, we fail to respond emotionally or adequately prepare for its arrival. Harris emphasizes that if faced with a message from an extraterrestrial species signaling their superiority and impending arrival, humanity would perceive it as a pivotal moment in history. Although my timeline is placed in the distant future I like to often focus and apply modern day thinking and though processes to my writing in order to engage with my readership. I work very centrally with the idea that work provides purpose to humanity, enabling them to define themselves in ways that work currently does to us all.  In book 1, I make reference to the fact that in the 22nd century humanity came to a junction where it was automating itself, through the use of AI, out of the workplace. With the arrival of the Nederig in our universe the leaders of the Galactic Union of Planet’s (GUP) are discussing how the far advanced technology that this alien race have to offer could pose a threat to the balance of humanity if not introduced cautiously. Although in Book 2 these AI laws are relaxed and embraced with the introduction of the Quantum Resonance Battle Sphere (QRBS) technology, it still ensures that sufficient control measures are in place; still advocating decision making processes to the human ‘Wayfinder’ (Pilot) and Nederig ‘Director’ (Tactical Officer). The problem is that in most cases we can only predict linear phenomena and not exponential ones. Are we really about to start a new historical phase or to destroy humanity with stupid sandbox wars like in Ukraine? 500.000 victims at least at the age of AI? Millions more dying for no reason every year. Billion of dollars burned for weapons instead of attacking climate change and other pressant issues. Far right political parties at the door. Time to act.
