Financial Professional, Vacation Rental Owner, and Entrepreneur// If you're looking for a job, this isn't for you// If you have a growth mindset & open to learning something new, Lets Chat!
Hi everyone! I have had a ton of conversations recently from people who are burnt out from their careers, or they love their career, but they’re missing something - whether that be time freedom, money freedom, fulfilment, etc. If you’ve had those conversations with anyone who is looking for a change, or wants to work with a company with good morals, doing right by people, and genuinely making a difference in people’s lives, send them my way. 99% of our agents don’t come from a financial background. We have nurses, lawyers, police officers, EMTs, therapists, pharmacists, etc who work part time in our firm while working at their career they worked hard to get to. A lot of them start out working 8-10 hours a week and have families as well. We are looking for hardworking individuals who have solid morals, a heart to serve, want something different for their family, and don’t mind working from home (or anywhere with wi-fi). The best thing to happen to me was someone giving me a shot when I needed it. There’s fulfilment here and you genuinely make a difference in people’s lives. If you know anyone looking for a shot, we can see if it’s a good fit for them. #remotework #remotejob #workfromhome #financeeducation #financialadvisorcoaching #financialadvisor

A few thoughts from the last few weeks of job searching… 1. HOW is ANYONE surviving on full-time jobs offering only $11-13/hr? 2. Job boards listing open positions under “NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED” filters REQUIRING experience? 3. How are you supposed to get experience in a new role if most entry-level roles require experience? 4. I’m seeing a lot of remote positions for all types of physician roles, so how is it that general office companies are expecting employees to come into offices? It’s tough out here y’all 😪

Senior Clinical Program Consultant at Optum, program/project/product management, strategy, leadership development and culture champion. I streamline processes to optimize efficiency and profitability.
I get a lot of messages from clinicians frustrated with the process of getting a non-clinical role. Unfortunately, even in a great job market, it takes a while to get a good position. You need to think of this as long-game and a test of resilience. Reality is that the job market is slow right now. I know a lot of people who have worked in utilization management that are struggling to find positions and some that have returned to clinical positions. Here is my advice: ⭐️Take time to figure out what you want to do. This is not easy. Look at job descriptions and see what sounds good and what qualifications they are looking for ⭐️Build your resume with the experience you need. Be creative if you need to. Take on projects and reports where you work now. If you can’t get the experience where you are working, look for volunteer opportunities ⭐️Make connections and network. The best time to do this is when you are not looking for a position. Follow up with your connections periodically and not just with the sole intention of asking about positions ⭐️Don’t be afraid to start at a lower level. I had to take a salary cut to move into my first non-clinical role, but it only took me 2 years to advance and start making more. If you need to, many people supplement with home health visits on weekends or do overtime ⭐️Remember that hiring is cyclical. Summer and fall are often slower for job opportunities ⭐️Set up job alerts for companies you are interested in ⭐️Look for local/hybrid positions- these typically have much less competition than remote positions Focusing on yourself and building your resume and connections will help with the disappointment of not landing a position quickly.

👀 Where are all of my Healthcare, Community & Social Services Job Seekers at? REGION: GTA SECTOR: Hospital Networks Here are a few positions that I stumbled across while doing my regular job-posting internet sleuthing this week that I thought would be worth sharing, but more importantly not a waste of your time to check out. Please note that all positions have been vetted (by yours truly) as current & active on the company's corporate careers page, and are aligned with reputable/respected/world renowned organizations in the area. Remember that the application process can be tedious, and a relentless pursuit. It's not as easy as just firing off 47 of the same resume day-after-day. You really have to figure out what sets YOU apart, and how do you stand out amongst a sea of competition, and AI generated resumes & cover-letters? The job market today is harder to navigate than ever before, as far as I'm concerned - especially for young people & new-grads! Give me a thumbs up 👍 if you found this information helpful, and throw a comment down below if you're planning on apply to one... or ALL of the positions below 😜 https://lnkd.in/gd4nA_WX Clinical Clerical Assistant - Trillium Health Partners https://lnkd.in/gnsbpCuT - Administrative Assistant - Respiratory Therapy - Mount Sinai (Sinai Health) https://lnkd.in/g6fhYtJe - Administrative Coordinator - Staffing Office - Unity Health - Providence https://lnkd.in/g7GFFPtP - Clerical Support Associate - Cardiology Clinic - Humber River Health https://lnkd.in/gZUukPWd - Program Administrative Assistant - Capital Planning and Redevelopment - Trillium Health Partners https://lnkd.in/gR8-ARFW - Patient Administrative Associate - Emergency Department - Sunnybrook Health Sciences (Listen, this one is a little older, and has had a tonne of applicants - it's probably not worth it to apply at this point ((applicant pool is too saturated)) but maybe consider roles similar this one in the future). (Saved the best one for last, imo 😏 ) https://lnkd.in/gvsQePkn - Clerical Assistant II - Health Record Services Department - Princess Margaret, University Health Network #jobsearchstrategy #genz #youngprofessional #newgrad #professionaldevelopment #leadership #careersupport #jobsearch #mentor #realtalk #mentorship #relatable #internationalstudent

📈 Ex Care Assistant turned care recruitment expert | Helping amazing people work in the care industry | Values based recruitment advocate ☺️ 👉 📧 [email protected]
Just because Care Assistants and Support Workers are typically paid national living wage, does not give us the right to treat this role with any less care than a very well paid role. I see hours and hours going into efforts to hire Registered Managers and Director roles, but see Care staff roles treated with a degree of disregard and laziness. The heart and soul of any care company is your care staff. Please remember to instil this drive and motivation into your organisation's ethos and culture. #socialcarerecruitment #retention
