Corvus Energy has over 60% market share for ship batteries. Now they have also STARTED the PRODUCTION of FUEL CELLS. Goal is clear: SHIPPING to be ELECTRIFIED. Batteries and next-generation fuel cells fit together like a glove. They complement each other so that the energy is used as efficiently as possible, increases the service life of both parts and provides an increased range. In this way, the range of vessels that can be electrified can also be expanded. Fuel cell technology is where we were ten years ago with batteries. We would never have been where we are today without many good research projects and the unique maritime environment we have in Norway. Good internal communication and, not least, a short distance between the production environment, R&D, engineers and service are crucial for product development. At a safe distance from the hydrogen battery and the test cell, the control room is located in a container. The fuel cell itself has been developed by Toyota. It is proven technology used in cars and heavy vehicles for over 30 years. Corvus provides "marinification" - building equipment, systems and fuel cells together for marine adoption.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗲'𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮 In the past few weeks, we've talked a lot about #etrucks and their #batteries referencing our startup volytica diagnostics. So now's the time to take a deeper look into the company built by Claudius Jehle and Sebastian Stoll. 📈𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 The cost of batteries is falling sharply - comparable to the learning curve for PV - making them a cost-effective form of energy storage. This opens up commercially attractive application possibilities and accelerates expansion. ⚠️𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 Battery storage systems are complex to manufacture and operate. Expansion of energy storage systems must be accompanied by solutions that ensure safe, high-performance, and long-lasting operation. Operators are buying valuable assets whose current and future status is not transparent. 💡𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Volytica offers an intelligent cloud-based, manufacturer-independent battery analytics platform ("vdx engine") for analysing the status and simulating the performance behaviour without the need for additional hardware. The platform also allows the application to be simulated in different operating modes. 🔋𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮 volytica diagnostics GmbH is a Dresden-based software provider specializing in battery diagnostics for mobile and stationary energy storage systems. Their goal is to make the use of battery systems safer and more sustainable, driving value to the end user. Utilizing its innovative AI-based analysis software and collected field data, volytica provides a new level of transparency about the condition of batteries. Customers gain valuable insights into degradation, health status, anomalies, security risks, and charge state through this proprietary solution. These insights can either be integrated into customer-specific platforms or made available on volytica’s in-house dashboard. Additional features include concrete operational recommendations for optimal performance, proactive alarm notifications, and evaluations of the remaining lifespan for second-life concepts. 2030: The Dawn of Graphene 2024 In the heart of the Reggio Emilia Apennines, a group of visionary engineers at GQenergy worked at a relentless pace. They faced a titanic challenge: responding to the announcement of GigaBattery, the rival company that had just unveiled a battery capable of lasting fifty years without recharging. But the GQenergy team had something revolutionary on its hands: a Graphene battery that would recharge itself in minutes, promising to crush the competition with a technology eight years ahead of the traditional ones. Ermy, the project leader, was the epitome of genius and determination. Growing up in a modest family, his father a factory worker, his mother a homemaker, and a beautiful sister, Ermy had always dreamed of revolutionizing the energy world. "Graphene is not only the future of energy, it is the future of our civilization," he used to say in meetings, instilling a sense of mission in his team. The history of the battery, once a simple energy storage device, had become an epic journey of innovation under Ermy's leadership. From the first lithium batteries, which were heavy and limited, to the quantum leap to Graphene, a lighter, more efficient, and incredibly versatile material. Ermy and his team were writing the next chapter of this story. One night, while the country slept, the GQenergy lab buzzed with activity. After years of experimentation, the team had finally perfected the self-charging process. The new battery not only recharged in minutes, but could automatically adjust to peak demand, promising a revolution in energy use. But success was not assured. The GigaBattery had almost unlimited resources and would not give up easily. Moreover, the Ermy team still faced the biggest hurdle of all: convincing the public and investors that their technology was not just a scientific utopia, but a tangible and affordable reality. The turning point came with the announcement of a public demonstration. The world watched as a small but powerful Graphene battery powered a Drone for days, showing no signs of failure. It was the test everyone had been waiting for. Almost overnight, GQenergy became synonymous with progress and sustainability. Ermy looked at his team, reunited and smiling at the success of their creation. It was more than a technological victory; it was the realization of a shared dream. Not only had they advanced battery science by eight years, they had also ignited a spark of hope for the future of the planet.
