Uninsured / underinsured motorist coverage is a type of auto insurance that provides protection to you if you are involved in an accident with a driver who does not have insurance or does not have enough insurance to cover the damages resulting from the accident. In Florida, uninsured /underinsured motorist coverage is not mandatory, but it is offered as an option when you purchase auto insurance. It's a good idea to consider adding uninsured motorist coverage to your auto insurance policy in Florida to protect yourself in case you are involved in an accident with an uninsured or underinsured driver.

Had a great conversation last year with Nick Ramirez of Goosehead Insurance Agency, where I dived into one of the biggest issues that we come across when handling personal injury cases. Surprisingly, many drivers are driving daily without auto insurance. Leaving you at risk of being protected in the event of an auto collision. Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage (UM/UIM) covers your bodily injury claims in the event the at fault party doesn't have auto insurance OR their auto insurance doesn't cover all of your medical expenses and damages. The minimum UIM/UM coverage you should have is $100,000. Check your auto insurance policy today and make sure you protect yourself! Remember, this doesn't take your premium up extensively, only a couple of dollars each month. You protect other people on the road, why not make sure you are protected as well? The full interview is coming soon! If you're in need of reliable car insurance, be sure to connect and reach out to Nick Ramirez. _________ #goodylawgroup #personalinjurylawfirm #californialawyer #wyominglawyer
