On #WorldWaterDay we're spotlighting P4G partnerships that have improved the lives of people and communities. Replenish Coastal Cities in Kenya showed how a managed aquifer recharge (MAR) plant could increase water resilience and groundwater resources by capturing excess rainwater. The partnership conducted site visits, feasibility studies and collected data to develop a business model that showed the viability of a MAR plant in Tiwi Well Field. It will now raise funding to design and construct the site. Water resilience is a critical component to avert humanitarian and geopolitical crises and P4G is proud to support innovations like this that are good for people and planet. https://bit.ly/3Pw6QwJ Ramboll, Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP)
