I have had many mentors. They were my family, coworkers, managers and even my bosses. Some tought me how to work hard, some tought me how to work smart, some tought me how to keep a fresh mind and many tought me how to stay humble in all situations. I am greatfull to every one of them.

I have struggled with imposter syndrome for as long as i can remember. I encourage others to reach for their dreams and believe in themselves but when it comes to me, its a bit more challenging, isnt it always? Well, it was until i met a role model who really showed me that i have what it takes to be successful and all i needed was to learn to be comfortable talking about me, my skills, strenghts, what makes me unique! I still doubt myself occasionally but know now that no one is perfect. If you believe in yourself and strive for continuous growth you will achieve your goals. Find people who support you in that journey, be open and honest, share your wins and your struggles. Be that person for others.

I have a lot of mentors and all of them have a very good influenced on me

Finding a great mentor is undoubtedly one of the best ways to drive professional development, particularly in the modern day workplace where there is such a huge divide between the thoughts and expectations of Gen X’s & Gen Z’s.

I had a professor, Dr. Michael Sexson, and he was wonderfully theatrical in his love of literature, especially mythology. He helped me to find the wonder in daily things, especially through struggles and finding perspectives which could open me up to the lessons life was teaching me. It gave me tenacity and comfort in hardship, having the stories of others with epic struggles and their perseverance and growth. He showed me how to find the nectar in a banal experience and I will always be grateful for those lessons. They have helped to forge a playfulness and indefatigability which has proved invaluable in all areas of my life.

My dad he always tell me to work for what I want but do it legally.

Most of my mentors have taught me without them even realizing. I learn through the example they set and that's something I am mindful when I am in a mentor position. You impart more than what you are explicitly teaching.

Yes, many role models teachers, and mentors. They have had a huge impact on my life. I can fill a few books on how they have influenced my life. Actually struggling a bit to write them, the hard part is talking about myself. But my memories of teachers keeps me at it.
