“I like meeting new people and meeting with my coach,” said Leslie. “It has been an eye-opening experience. I never realized how sheltered a life I have lived. I appreciate everything everyone has done and continues to do.” https://hubs.la/Q02DLBw80

Teacher's Day is a special occasion to honor educators, but it's important to recognize that we have teachers all around us if we're open to learning. My single-parent mother has been my most impactful teacher, imparting valuable life lessons. For many, the first teacher is their mother, and I am no exception. My single-parent mother not only raised me but also instilled in me the values and skills that have shaped my life. Her journey as a single parent was filled with challenges, yet she managed to teach me some of the most important lessons I carry with me today. #Resilience: My mother's ability to overcome adversity taught me resilience. We had less food on the table but enough books on the shelves:) #Determination: Her unwavering determination was a constant source of inspiration. #Empathy: She taught me to understand and care for others, irrespective of their circumstances. #Financial Literacy: As a single parent, my mother had to manage our finances with precision. She passed on valuable lessons about budgeting, saving, and financial responsibility. #Love for Learning: My mother nurtured my curiosity and encouraged me to explore the world around me. While my mother has been my first and most influential teacher, it's essential to recognize that we can learn from a myriad of sources. #Friends: Our friends teach us about trust, loyalty, and the importance of human connections. They provide a different perspective on life's challenges and joys. Moumita Hore Anamika Ghosh Rahul Kumar Pandey ARNAV DASGUPTA Eshita Chatterjee #Partner: Someone who pushes you to be the best version of yourself but also accepts the lapses you confront. Saikat Das has always inspired me with his hard work and being my front-row cheerleader :) #Colleagues: In the workplace, colleagues teach us teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Their experiences can shape our professional growth. Sakshi Gaur Shikha Pant Apeksha Victor (She / Her) Shalini Mishra Piyush Nayak Abhinay Srivastava Usman Khan Yash Chandak and my whole team at Itscredible . I might miss out on some names but if I have worked with you, I have always had some key takeaways. #Mentors: Mentors guide us on our journey to success. They offer advice, share their experiences, and help us navigate through life's complexities. Deepika Verma Anjali Sood Debojit Sen Sumeet Mehta Mukesh Sharma Divjyot Singh MOHIT BHARDWAJ Mridul Dhiman #Strangers: Even chance encounters with strangers can be educational. Every person we meet has a unique story and perspective to share. Learning is a lifelong journey, and every day can be Teacher's Day if we remain open to the lessons from those around us. While my mother has been my primary teacher, the world is full of teachers waiting to inspire us. Let's appreciate and acknowledge the wisdom we gain from everyday interactions, recognizing that our ability to learn knows no bounds. #teacherday #gratitudepost #learningjourney #leadershiplessons #mentors

Coach | Speaker | Nature Enthusiast | Mother | Supporting individuals to adopt a faith-centered approach to life
My life-defining moments and how they've impacted my work... I feel it’s always good to introduce the person behind the business first, so here goes... I'm a nature enthusiast and an adventurer at heart. I’m a dedicated mother based in the UK with my children. I’m deeply inspired by our individual uniqueness and appreciate all things creative. I’m in awe of every small and big thing in nature as each one carries their own miraculous design and the ayat (signs) of Allah. Ask anyone who knows me well, they'll tell you my favourite place to be is on top of a mountain! I'm also a community worker and with my love for knowledge, consider myself a student for life. I don’t believe in using big marketing tactics or relying on tried and tested persuasive speech - I’m actually a digital marketer’s worst nightmare lol! I strive to write directly from my heart, firmly believing that Allah has already decreed whom it will reach and how it will resonate with other hearts. My life-defining moments: I believe our entire lives are made up of multiple teaching moments, all curated by Allah. Here's 3 significant life events that reshaped my perspective, forcing me to re-examine life, my purpose and reflect on the ultimate destination of this temporary journey we’re all on. Life moment #1: Becoming a parent. My journey through parenthood also became a valuable mirror, unveiling not just my capacity to love and sacrifice but also exposing my vulnerabilities. Life moment #2: Overcoming my paralysing fear of public speaking, with the help of Allah. Trust me when I say if I could do this - any one can! Life moment #3: Losing my husband in early 2022. It was unexpected and forced me to confront the fragility of this temporary world and the reality of the Next. What I do: I’m the founder of The Awakened Hearts Academy and The Confident Muslimah. The Confident Muslimah was created to deliver an alternative confidence training model, one that’s firmly rooted in our relationship with Allah. As opposed to some of the fakery and ego-led confidence training found in the secular world, I developed a paradigm offering something even more powerful and ultimately rewarding. Awakened Hearts Academy opened last year, driven by a vision to deliver education standing on three core pillars: Context – Understanding this world in relation to the Hereafter Character – Refining our character in the footsteps of our beloved Prophet (SAW). Courage – Nurturing spiritually-rooted courage to attain unparalleled levels of confidence. My services: - A weekly newsletter - ‘AHA’ moments- weekly short notes to inspire deeper thoughts - 1:1 coaching - Breaking Barriers online coaching group - The Travellers programme - The Spiritual Confidence programme Alhamdulilah, we’ve run all our programmes multiple times to great reviews. Shukr to Allah always. For more details on my services, type AHA in the comments and I'll send you a DM :) With duaas, Hafsah

Helping tired women who want to leave teaching start a coaching business by using your transferable skills to Get Started in Coaching SKILLS | £99 MINI MASTERMIND | WATCH 'BEST FRIEND IN BUSINESS' BELOW
Good morning! Its half term in South Wales, so I get to spend some quality time with my son this week. The last few weeks I caught one of the lovely viruses going around the school I work in (I usually manage to avoid catching anything, but not this school year!) And it put me out for nearly 3 weeks. During this time I found it really difficult to do anything with regards to my business (thank god for scheduling tools!) Apart from my scheduled posts, I hardly connected with anyone or did anything in my business that would help grow. Times like this people can easily give up. Like the first few months in your business. When you don't see overnight success, that's when you tend to give up as you think its not working. But remember why you started. Do you want to stay in your teaching job until you retire or end up leaving due to WRS? Do you want to continue being too tired for your own children? Do you want to continue missing your own children's school concerts? If the answer is no, then be kind to yourself. If you find it all a bit overwhelming, take a step back. Ask for help or invest in a coach. It makes the journey so much easier when you have guidance from someone that has been in your shoes. Remember Why You Started before you give up. #dontgiveup #rememberwhyyoustarted #mondaymotivation #motivationalcoach #teachercoach #yourwhy #workingmum #keepgoing #teachermums #teachergram #educationuk #teacherootd #exittheclassroom #coachingothers #coachingwomen #femaleteachers #theclassroom #classroomdecor #burntoutteacher #southwalesbusiness #primaryteachers #secondaryteachers #ukteachers #usateachers #careerchange #teachertransition

What do you want for yourself right now? I used to say, I want to go back to my old job and earn again. I tried to apply to the former hospital. Sadly, they told me I need to take up masters in order to re-apply because I have been out of work for 6 years. And for that reason I did not push for what I wanted. Since then I believed that I am not ever going to work again because it's the only work I know. Then as time past, sharing experiences with fellow moms with specials kids brought joy within me. Until it came to a point that I was doing counseling to parents. The time came when I decided to go for masters degree for SPED and I came across coaching instead as a better option. It was then that I committed to myself and pursue it. I was short of fund but it did not stop me from pushing myself to get certified and attend trainings. Now I am a mindful family coach #blissfully helping more families with and without special needs. What are the lessons I learned on my journey? 1. Be clear with what you want and set clear action plans to pursue it. 2. Look at challenges as opportunity to develop your resilience and self compassion. 3. Believe in yourself and anchor on your deeper purpose for wanting it. What you want to pursue is as important as the plans you have for your family. As you grow as an individual, the more you will be able to support and care for the people you love. You will be empowered and driven to do more and earn more. And most importantly, you will learn to value yourself as you give value to others and teach your kids how to value themselves too. Is there something you want to pursue for yourself? What's stopping you? If there are no hurdles, how would it look like to achieve it ? Give yourself a chance. #trust yourself more #lovingliconnectwithin to know what you want have #compassion towards yourself when facing challenges You are worthy to live your #blissfullife. #youareworthy #blissfullife #selfempowerment #mindfulinnerparenting #mindfulfamilycoach #MindfulMOMents #MindfullyMe

This is me, living my best life sea kayaking in the Scottish Highlands last week 🚣♀️ There is so much more to this photo than my happy face... 🌟 Will & I working on our #communication skills, so we won the fastest paddling competition (that our colleagues did not know we were having against them 🤣) 🌟 experiencing a new adventure, discussing the valuable #learning outcomes this can deliver 🌟 building new #relationships with the wider team at The Outward Bound Trust Loch Eil 🌟 the peace I felt being in #nature (made even more wonderful by the appearance of some seals 🦭) and the positive effect on my #wellbeing There can be some really #challenging moments for #apprentices and #graduates when they join a behavioural development programme at one of our centres. I feel those moments myself when my team shares in those experiences and we do something that's way out of my comfort zone. My mouth goes dry, the nerves kick in and I begin to shake and more often than not I want to cry - very annoying & frustrating! For once, this was not one of those days - hurrah 🎉 - but it made me think about them and how much my thought process has changed since I've had those experiences. I've found more #confidence and #determination. So, the next time someone tells me to jump off a bridge, I hope I can ❤️ #MoreThanYouThink #OutwardBound #behaviouraldevelopment #adventure #seakayaking #earlycareers #earlytalent #growthmindset #bridgejump #support #joganddip ❤️

With the results now released, I'd like to take a moment reflecting on my time at NCERT which was a rollercoaster of experiences. From conducting class talks to counseling sessions, every day brought new challenges and learnings. The struggle to balance my duties with coursework often left me feeling overwhelmed. Tight schedules and the constant juggle of responsibilities created a sense of uncertainty and confusion. It was like navigating through a maze without a map, with stress and pressure as constant companions. But amidst the chaos, I discovered resilience and adaptability within myself. Each challenge became an opportunity to grow, professionally and personally. Now, I'm eager to channel these learnings into supporting emotional wellness and growth, knowing that every hurdle is a chance to become stronger. ✨✨ #ProfessionalGrowth #SchoolCounselling #EmotionalWellbeing #MentalHealthMatters #Resiliance
