We had five talent acquisition/human resources professionals speak with our group of executive recruiters at The Pinnacle Society conference last Friday. It was a fascinating look into what individuals in-house think of and appreciate about partners on the search side of business. I could have asked them a hundred more questions were I able to steal more of their time. My biggest takeaways are that trust is key, knowing your audience is imperative (both fairly obvious), and what cadence and approach of outreach is most appreciated (this was extremely interesting to hear). If any of my TA/HR contacts are ever interested in joining a panel like this in the future, I'd love to have you message me as we have two Pinnacle conferences per year and I think the perspectives of different internal parties is an area where we can continue to gain intel and guidance to keep our group a cut above the rest.
