<Prepares to get canceled for this> Thank you to the The Elevate Prize Foundation for having Gold House at your seminal Summit on the heels of our Creative Equity Fund's success in investing in leading indie films, indie media companies, and next-new creators with purpose. Also, FTR, I qualified that I love and grew up on Sesame Street; believe in local journalism’s preservation (but under a public good business model); and that all of this is a balance—but needs resequencing! But editors be editing 🦸🏻

Impact content should be delicious AND nutritious! Wise words by Bing Chen at our #MakeGoodFamous Summit in May that we can't stop thinking about. Bing and his team at Gold House are at the forefront of this — building mainstream representation for the AAPI community, and reshaping public opinions through storytelling. His advice for the rest of us: remember that humans like “to eat candy before they take their vitamins.”

100%. You need to find the right balance — preserving artistic integrity while also making it commercially viable. Would be curious to hear others’ perspectives on what films or general IP have done this well. EEAAO comes to mind as one.
