Thrilled to share that our portfolio company, Gapai, has secured a $1 million seed round led by Wavemaker Partners with Antler participating as a repeat investor 🔥
Gapai is on a mission to revolutionize the cross-border migrant job placement industry by providing a safe and efficient platform for Indonesian migrant workers to pursue global career opportunities.
Their platform connects qualified workers with reputable employers, streamlining the process of cross-border job placements.
The need for such a solution is paramount, as illegal trafficking cases have increased sevenfold in recent years. Gapai's platform aims to combat this alarming issue by offering a secure and legal alternative.
Since its inception and initial funding from Antler, Gapai has built an impressive network of 12,000 qualified workers. With this fresh injection of capital, they plan to enhance their technological infrastructure and expand their reach across Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and the Middle East.
Congrats to the team—Radityo Susilo, Rizky Primanda, Arsyanda Marsa, Adji Pramono, Faizal Ramanda—for taking a significant step forward in unlocking global opportunities for more Indonesians 🤝
