The Godrej Group family, stewards of a 127-year old legacy built on trust and innovation, exemplifies a remarkable departure from the typical narrative of messy family business splits. Over the years, they have not only shaped iconic brands but a better India too. And it’s inspiring to see that they are preserving their culture and values in the face of change. Instead of succumbing to power struggles, they are moving ahead with wisdom and foresight. True to the legendary Godrej grace and poise, the family has chosen an amicable split to pursue divergent visions while maintaining unity. Their decision highlights that a harmonious approach to an inevitable transformation is crucial for a flourishing future. By prioritising shareholders, employees, stakeholders and the family’s future generations, they are leaving behind a legacy of evolution and relevance. There are precious lessons for every family managed business to draw from the powerful precedent they have set. #familyoffice #familybusiness #successionplanning #godrej

In our PEM session under the guidance of Soni Karekar ma'am we had a vivid discussion about the sector FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) also known as consumer-packaged goods, while I was making a search of it, I got to know that these products are sold quickly and at a relatively lower price thus making an amiable market in India as well as around the globe. It deals in a numerous product like packaged foods, beverages, cosmetics, low-cost household items, etc. The company which I explored under FMCG was Godrej Group , established in 1897 by Ardeshir Godrej and PiroJosha Burjorji Godrej this company is an Indian multinational conglomerate having its headquarters in Mumbai, the Godrej Group had its roots in India's Independence and Swadeshi Movement. Looking about its history, I got to know how hard work, consistency and clear vision does miracles in the lives of people. Ardeshir Godrej, person behind this company had a major setback in in life, he was a lawyer-turned-serial entrepreneur failed with a few ventures before he struck gold with a lock's business and because of this business idea the company established themselves as one of the renowned company not only in India but all around the globe. The company brings the philosophy of innovation, sustainability and inculcates the feeling of excellence, according to the company they focus in creating spaces that enables everyday joys; one community, one family and one home at a time. They were the 1st company in the world to produce animal fat free soap, they continue to endeavour new benchmark in delivering environment friendly projects across the country. Being the future of tomorrow, we need to learn a lot from this company, apart from major setbacks how this company emerged to one of the leading brands in the market by creating the essence of delight in the lives of people. Our future is in our hand, no matter what we go through we should be consistent and futuristic in life and in the end we'll come out with flying colours as we have the power of bringing innovation for betterment of mankind and our future. #sustainability #hardwork #dedication #consistency #innovation Mounika Reddy Monidipa Roy

Hello, LinkedIn community! It's been a while since I last shared my thoughts here, but today I couldn't be more excited to reconnect with all of you. I've always believed in the power of #values, #traditions, and the importance of delivering #qualityproducts. Today, I want to take a moment to reflect on our company's values, my personal interests, and an exciting #CSRcampaign that embodies everything we stand for at Tenali Double Horse . At Tenali Double Horse, our journey began in 2005 with a vision to make quality and health accessible to all. We started as a humble endeavour, and over the years, we've grown into South India's premier quality pulses manufacturer. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm immensely proud of what we've achieved. Our commitment to quality has been unwavering. We've strived to ensure that every grain of Urad Gota and Urad Dal that reaches your kitchen is of the highest standard. We understand that quality is not just a feature; it's our promise to you, our valued customers. But we didn't stop there. We've also been dedicated to championing the interests of those involved in the pulse industry, from growers to processors to sellers, all across India. Our relentless pursuit of quality extends to every aspect of our business. But our values extend beyond business growth. We firmly believe in giving back to society, and that's why we've actively participated in various CSR initiatives. Our recent CSR campaign, Phir Se Udaan, holds a special place in my heart. "Phir Se Udan" is all about empowering women to rediscover their wings and pursue their dreams. In a world where responsibilities often take precedence, we want to remind women that it's never too late to chase their aspirations. This campaign resonates deeply with our values of inclusivity, empowerment, and social responsibility. We're not just a company that sells pulses and dals; we're a company that cares about making a positive impact on people's lives. It's this commitment to tradition and innovation, quality and values, that sets us apart. We've been honoured with awards like 'The Best Brand Development in the Food Industry' and 'Best Environmental Conservation Brand,' but our greatest reward is the trust and satisfaction of our customers in the quality of our products. In conclusion, I want to thank each one of you for being a part of this incredible journey. As we move forward, we'll continue to uphold our values, support meaningful initiatives like "Phir Se Udan," and strive for excellence in everything we do. Together, we can make a difference in the world, one grain at a time. Let's keep the conversation going, and please feel free to share your thoughts, ideas, and experiences. Together, we can inspire positive change, empower dreams, and continue delivering the quality products you deserve. #tenalidoublehorse #csrcampaign #phirseudaan #empowermentwithemployement

At Godrej Properties Limited, we believe valuing talent and diversity is not just a personal choice but an important business pillar. That's why we lay great emphasis on upskilling our employees through multiple learning programs and fostering a culture which integrates diverse perspectives. But attracting talent from diverse communities towards a sector like real estate is easier said than done. Here's our MD and CEO, Gaurav Pandey, highlighting a major challenge faced by the real estate sector. Have a look: https://shorturl.at/bkFKO

Have you added more to the brand/institution than you have taken from it? Simply put, for example, if I'm a part of Godrej, have I done the best I can to add great value to the organisation? Or, have i taken more from the brand, minted value through quoting it in my CV, and leveraged it in many ways to further my professional growth? That's my take on wanting great sectors/brands on your CV if you have leveraged the institution more than adding value to it. Similarly, we pay a small (in retrospect) fee and tom-tom our alma mater's name for years to enable our professional growth. Do we give back in any capacity? I would like to keep an eye out for those people who create more value for the institution than take from it. Those are rare people, hold on to them. 😌
