In recent years, Ukraine has taken a lot of steps in the development of startups, and we are talking not only about the IT sector of the state, but also the economic, energy, and infrastructure sectors. However, today we are talking about the development of technologies and services, and such startups as Grammarly, Depositphotos, Preply, and GitLab are most likely already known to you because they have proven themselves and received international recognition through timely investment. In addition, various startup committees were recently created in Ukraine. The reinforcement for success was also the fact that in recent years, Ukrainians were invited more often to European conferences, such as Collision, Mobile World Congress, Bett UK, CES, and others. As for Switzerland, this country is among the top 5 investors of Ukraine and the top 10 importers of Ukrainian IT services. In general, after the crisis of 2014-2015, there has been an improvement in the business and investment climate in Ukrainian-Swiss relations. The priority areas of cooperation between the two countries at that time were the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, mechanical engineering, and, of course, banking. However, Switzerland has recently been paying a lot of attention to the development of digital technologies in the public and business sectors and openly declares that its investors are ready to invest their money in Ukrainian IT startups. Swiss investors know that Ukraine has a strong IT sector and, in addition, favorable conditions from the point of view of "price/quality". The Swiss are looking for opportunities that will allow them to get significant profits with relatively small initial investments, and as practice shows, Ukraine already has a case of such startups. The Swiss market is still more developed than the Ukrainian one, and we still have room to grow. In addition, the Swiss are quite conservative and tend to build relationships for a long time before investing, it is difficult to call them risk-takers. In conclusion, we can say that Swiss investors are ready to invest in Ukrainian startups in 2024, but one should be patient and not expect a second investment. The Swiss are open to new projects, but they remain cautious due to their mentality. The development of a startup ecosystem requires time and investment, and Ukraine has taken many steps in this direction. #ukraine #offshoredevelopment #offshoredevelopmentcompany #itinukraine #finddevelopersinukraine #nearshoringukraine #ukraineprogrammers #ukrainiandevelopers #developersinukraine #uadevelopers #webdevelopmentukraine #outstaffingukraine #dedicatedteamukraine #businessinukraine #remotedevelopment #itindustryukraine #dobusinesswithukraine #workwithukraine #outstaffing #gointeractive
