It was from the 1957 ESOMAR Congress (Göteborg, Sweden) and is the first time the ANA library search finds the word "innovation". And I love that, because rather than 'innovation' appearing as a boast, or promotion, or to establish credibility or superiority - it was applied to fuel debate/discussion. And 67 years and 2 days  (yes I really calculated that 15 June 57 > 17 June 24) - ESOMAR brings the research innovators to Chicago to not only learn and network, but also to debate and discuss topics and ideas.
