A Family Emergency Kit, or FEK, is a tool designed to solve multiple problems that families face after a disaster. Each kit starts with a household water purification solution. Kits can also include a solar light and hygiene items like soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. By packing Family Emergency Kits with our volunteers, we can drive down costs so we can help more people. Donate to our Family Emergency Kit fund at www.globalmedic.ca/donate

We are expanding our fire skid program to include UTVs. These smaller vehicles can quickly access fires in hard to reach areas and extinguish them before they burn out of control. Help us continue equipping firefighters across the country by donating to our Canadian Wildfire Response fund at www.globalmedic.ca/donate

When disaster strikes, people are evacuated, infrastructure is damaged and laundromats close, making the simple task of washing clothes an added burden. GlobalMedic has a new laundry trailer with washers, dryers, water tanks and a generator to provide people who are affected by a disaster with the comfort and dignity of clean clothes.
