📢 RADD deforestation alerts have expanded their coverage to mainland Southeast Asia. The radar-based alert system now detects disturbances in primary humid tropical forest in five additional countries: Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar. Open-source data available on GFW has provided a robust foundation for new tools and catalyzed technological innovation and collaboration. In this webinar on August 8, we will explore how GFW’s data and tools have enabled users to reduce, prevent and raise awareness around deforestation.
