Assistant Professor in Implementation Science & Global Health at the Julius Centre, UMC Utrecht (NL) / Research Fellow at the Institute of Sport and Exercise Medicine at Stellenbosch University (ZA)

I'm happy to share that I've been awarded the Utrecht University public engagement seed fund through which we aim to share patient experiences in #Mozambique on the impact of #multimorbidity through the use of #photovoice. Through the art of photography and community engagement, we aim to shed light on potentially hidden narratives and aspire to translate those experiences into actionable and contextually relevant knowledge; including implementation research into potential drivers for improved quality of care for those with multimorbidity. This work will be in co-creation with some amazing colleagues, in particular Prof. Kerstin Klipstein-Grobusch (Global Health UMC Utrecht, UMC Utrecht), Prof. Ana Mocumbi (NCDI Poverty Network and Universidade Eduardo Mondlane) and Dr. Olga Cambaco (Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute and CISM- Centro de Investigação em Saúde de Manhiça) 📷 from ncdipoverty.org

My pleasure to contribute to this project. I am excited at the prospect of working with all the team and the opportunity of conducting more photovoice 📸 with vulnerable communities in Mozambique 🇲🇿 🤝.
