Glenmarkians in Mahwah celebrated Walk the World', at Continental Soldiers Park. A part of Glenmark's wellness initiatives, ‘Walk the World' encourages our Mahwah, Monroe, and Canada offices to collectively walk the Earth's circumference in miles this summer. HealthCare Consultant| RPM Enthusiast| A Global Patient Advocate at Inspire2Live. The organization that is internationally active and connects patients, researchers and clinicians in the fight against cancer.
Dear director of prevention Ntuli Kapologwe , researchers, and the powers that be, Investing in #workplace wellness programs is not just an option but a necessity in today's health-conscious environment. By shifting the focus from monetary compensation to #health incentives, governments and employers can create a healthier, more productive workforce. This proactive approach to employee health can lead to significant long-term benefits, including reduced healthcare costs, improved employee morale, and enhanced overall productivity. The question is no longer whether we can afford to invest in workplace wellness, but whether WE can afford NOT to. Look here kwa mifano: 1. What If Employers Were Mandated to Provide In-House Nutrition Services? On-Site Kitchens and Nutritionists: Scenario: Companies would be required to have in-house kitchens and hire professional nutritionists to plan and oversee meals. Rationale: By controlling the preparation of food, companies can ensure that employees have access to meals low in salt, sugar, and unhealthy fats, tailored to their age and health conditions. Implementation: Policies could include grants or low-interest loans to help businesses set up these facilities, with periodic health audits to maintain standards. 2. What If Healthy Meal Plans Became Affordable "AND" Diverse?😋💞 Age and Condition-Specific Meal Plans: Scenario: Workplaces could offer a variety of meal plans tailored to the specific health needs of different employee demographics. Rationale: Customizing nutrition helps address specific health risks, such as calcium-rich diets for older employees or low-sodium options for those with hypertension. Implementation: Collaboration with dietitians and meal plan providers to create affordable, varied options that cater to diverse health requirements. I personally am impressed by ASSEMBLE INSURANCE TANZANIA as pioneers for wellness. We can pump up their efforts and scale these programs up to ensure we create a healthier nation by enforcing some necessary but much needed policy changes and creativity, LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND. Come on we can do this! NB: Tujaribu hii: Sioni haja ya kuongeza mishahara only kwenda kuitumia kwenye unhealthier lifestyle na kurudi kujiuguza kwa gharama zaidi. Tubadili namna ya kumotivate waajiriwa. Wape kinachowafaa! WALINDE! Ni mawazo tu!👍🌂 Franklin #wellness #ncds #prevention #preventivehealth #afya #health Ridhiwani Kikwete Chief Government Spokesperson / Msemaji Mkuu wa Serikali

Tubettificio Perfektüp has decided to join the programme 'Workplaces that Promote Health - WHP Lombardy Network', where WHP stands for 'Workplace Health Promotion'. This is an initiative of the Lombardy Region, recognized by the Italian Ministry of Health, aimed at promoting the conscious adoption of healthy lifestyles in the workplace, to prevent chronic diseases and achieve a better quality of life. For the next three years, the participating companies undertake to implement concrete initiatives to achieve these objectives, also through real organizational changes. Some examples? Fighting addictions, such as smoking and alcohol; encouraging physical activity and healthy eating; promoting a positive social environment. These are all areas to which Perfektüp has committed itself from the outset with concrete actions. Such as the possibility for employees to do their shopping online on the Mr. Natura website (which collects fresh and genuine food from local producers) and have it delivered to work, where it is stored in special refrigerated lockers. Over a thousand companies in Lombardy have accepted the challenge. And we are ready to give even more, with new initiatives aimed at promoting corporate health and well-being.

Hei whakaarotanga: Engaging with models of health and wellbeing that draw on mātauranga Māori (he rangahau hou) By Nicola Bright and Sally Boyd The latest paper from NZCER is an exploration of health and wellbeing models that draw on mātauranga Māori, providing a quick introduction to 10 models and discussing how to approach these models with care and respect. The wider intention of this paper is to support and prompt groups to be good partners under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and consider how they can measure wellbeing in ways that are meaningful to Māori and non-Māori. We encourage groups to reflect on how using models of health and wellbeing that draw on mātauranga Māori can assist them to uphold the cultural, political, and social responsibilities implicit in Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

The annual World Health Day is a powerful reminder of putting our health and well-being first. And this day resonates deeply with Hartalega’s commitment towards having a safe and healthy workplace. At Hartalega, we emphasise the necessity of spreading awareness around health, adopting good habits and healthy lifestyles for our #TeamHartanians through various initiatives including an enhanced mental well-being support system, introduction of our Jom Sihat Day which included FREE Health Screening by personnel from KPJ Hospital Ampang Puteri and the Biggest Shredder Challenge, Nutritional Awareness Day, Step Count Track, and the launch of S.I.M.P.L.E., our own Health and Wellness brand that harmonises the aspects of physical, psychological, and social health in the workplace. The theme of World Health Day 2024, “My Health, My Right,” serves as a reminder that there is nothing greater and more important than having good health − it is not just a privilege, but a fundamental right for all! As we work towards a healthier world, remember that only with good health are we able to fully have a good quality life. #Hartalega #WorldHealthDay #healthandwellness #workplacewellness #healthylifestyle
