Futurist | Top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) 2024| AI, Gen AI, RAI | I specialize in driving business outcomes with a commitment to human-centered experiences.

✨ I have two passions in life AI, GenAI, RAI and Women and Black people's empowerment. Today I had the opportunity to combine both as a speaker at the Girls Leadership Academy Meetup (GLAM Ready To Lead) on "Harnessing the Power of AI, Responsibly" in front of 60 girls aged 8-12. We talked about: 👉🏾AI versus GenAI 👉🏾LLMs platforms and demo 👉🏾Unattended AI output: Bias, Hallucinations, False content, Deep Fake 👉🏾The need to keep a human in the loop to fact-checks and use both critical and analytical thinking skills 👉🏾Black women and women of color in Responsible AI and who inspired me: Dr. Joy Buolamwini, Timnit Gebru, Safiya Noble, Ph.D., Dr. Rumman Chowdhury, Seeta Gangadharan 👉🏾I exhorted the girls to learn AI, use AI, embrace careers in STEAM to hold technology companies accountable and or build better AI models. Thank you Meghan Donohoe, my co-lead from Women of Cisco for the opportunity. Thank you Team Girls Leadership Academy Meetup (GLAM Ready To Lead) for having me. There are no better ways to give back, teach what I learn and lift as I climb. I look forward to more opportunities in the future. Megan Bazan it was great to see you there too. #AI #GenAI #ResponsibleAI #GLAMReadyToLead #WomenOfCisco #Cisco #GirlsLeadershipAcademy #GirlsinSTEAM
