Check out our study "Value Chain Analysis for Potatoes, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, and Dates in Al-Anbar Governorate, Iraq". While oil dominates Iraq's economy by far, agriculture remains vital for #FoodSecurity and livelihoods. Our comprehensive study identifies opportunities and challenges within these value chains, aiming to boost productivity and income for local communities. Highlights from the study: 🌾 Agriculture employs 20% of Iraq's workforce, and 23.3% of all Iraqi women are engaged in agricultural work. 🌾 Focus on overcoming water scarcity, fluctuating policies, and infrastructural challenges. 🌾 Strategic recommendations for long-term growth aligned with Iraq's National Development Plan.
