Hi, I'm Ashley Kramer from GitLab. Coming to you live from the United Nations headquarter where I just had the honor of speaking on a panel about AI for good and what generative AI means for public sector and government agencies. We discussed the importance of understanding the underlying data that's being used to train the model and the importance of collaboration throughout both private sector and government to really move forward at velocity with guardrails when it comes to generative AI to learn more about. Great panel discussion at the Adra - AI-Data-Robotics-Association Forum (#adrf23) on data for generative AI! While we have now put an impressive legislative framework in place (Data Governance Act, Data Act) and are continuing our investments in Common European Data Spaces, we have to make it easier for innovators to access all this data being made available.

This year, the Data Citizens with Purpose (DCwP) team had the opportunity to deliver the Generative AI for Enterprise Insights hackathon, with one of the goals of the event being to educate our KPMG professionals to know when to leverage KPMG generative AI tools, how to consider ethical implications around their usage, and how to engage in proper human intervention to validate and leverage their output.
