✍🏻 As we’re wrapping up work in 2023 and looking towards the big issues of 2024, I wanted to share one last piece of writing this year (for New America’s Thread magazine) on Section 230 and the public interest internet organizations it benefits. It’s places providing an important service, like Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia, or Internet Archive, that rely on Section 230 to protect them. Calls for repealing or reforming Section 230 need to take into account these unintended consequences as well! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ehS642Aj
