Please, stop these “mortgage hack” videos. Most of the time it’s click bait garbage, meant to trick consumers into thinking a lender has the magic bullet that’s going to solve all their problems. Instead, we as mortgage professionals should be able to clearly articulate the advantages and disadvantages of each option, without spin, and without the sales pitch.
