I am still embracing summer with open arms and a heart full of gratitude yet I know many of you are gearing up for the school season. Here is a great way to pack lunch boxes with a whole food alternative to dairy/yogurt as dairy is a top food allergen and triggers mucous production (aka - respiratory challenges as well as gut disrupt). This amazing grab and go jar is a whole-food plant-based alternative to yogurt (most vegan yogurts have too many additives) so give this a taste-test: https://lnkd.in/enaYUSJ3 For those of you with nut allergies (and even in you don't have them) this is a great alternative...) SUNBUTTER MAPLE VANILLA CREAM - 1 serving Using a small mason jar, mix together: 2 tbsp SunButter - I love the organic version 3-5 tbsp non-dairy milk 1-3 tsp maple syrup ½ tsp vanilla Adjust thickness and sweetness to taste and add a pinch of sea salt if desired. It's so good! Make into parfaits by layering with fruits, crunchy cereal or toasted seeds and topping with coconut ribbons and cacao nibs. One of the best ways to stay healthy is by eating a wide variety of various, whole-foods in appropriate amounts for your particular needs. We are all different and my diet is sure to be different from yours as my needs are unique to me. Honor this for yourself, your kids, your family, your clients. I get asked often, which is the best flavour ? My response …… they are all delicious, depends on preference and allergies/ sensitivities. Before launching in Jan 2023, we spent 3 months sending thousands of samples, in exchange for feedback. We launched, and spent the next 3 months asking for more feedback. In March, Caramel Macchiato entered the market, and we watched for the best seller. By May, we decided to make a slight formulation change. - switched sunflower oil to olive oil - switched our sugar free chocolate chip to semi sweet with cane sugar Why ? We asked a lot of questions, and received ALOT of great feedback, but also suggestions and recommendations. Top 2 - NO ERYTHRITOL/ NO SEED OIL We LISTENED and DELIVERED ✅ (even though it was an extra expense and huge inconvenience) We wanted to cater to all PREFERENCES:) Our Amino Ball family has now grown from 2 to 4 in 9 months. Making waffles and pancakes has become very common in my home on the weekends. We often batch cook for weekdays and weekend travel. We love to combine our pancakes and waffles with protein to make a balanced meal. This can often be done in multiple forms to ensure we have high protein counts to balance blood sugar. Why is it so hard....? (apparently) I have a dairy intolerance. It isn't something I choose to have, my body just doesn't take too kindly to dairy products. (BTW, for those wondering, eggs are nit dairy, but if you are vegan, you will not eat foods containing egg.) When you have an allergy or intolerance, you are often see as 'difficult to cater for' but again, remember, we don't have a choice... There are lots of great dairy free alternative products now available, including dairy free butter & cream etc. So it always saddens me, when I receive the menu for an event I am attending, which tells me I will be getting 'fruit' as my alternative dessert. - a sponge can be made with a dairy free butter or margarine, for everyone & know one would know. (But I could then have it) - you can offer a dessert with meringue, fruit & yoghurt or cream. (It woudl be easy to adjust this for the people who can't have dairy, using a dairy free cream or yoghurt) - you can make a brownie, using dark chocolate & a dairy free butter / margarine. (this is a good one for vegan / gluten free as well, if you use almond or gluten free flour and no eggs) Just a few simple ideas... Are you a chef? Is it really that hard to provide a better dessert than 'fruit'??
