For our party, I invited everybody somehow connected to the company: teammates with 1, partners, colleagues from other companies, our lawyer, and our gym coach. We believe you don't have to be a team citizen to be a me.develop resident. It simply means sharing our values, like simplicity in communication and a playful work atmosphere. To me, growing your company isn't just about expanding your internal crew but also broadening your outer 'support group' to open up more opportunities. Have you ever found yourself doing “non-promotable tasks” at work? Otherwise known as the “office housework”. What is Office Housework? “In addition to the two hours of unpaid labor women take on at home, research from Harvard Business Review found that women get 44% more requests than men to volunteer for “non-promotable” tasks at work. Non-promotable tasks are those that benefit the organization but likely don’t contribute to someone’s performance evaluation and career advancement.” How have you managed to push-back on office housework?
