Our research brought one of the most powerful attention studies on moviegoers to date. Facial expression maps, over 500 data points, and a completely natural environment meant Screenvision could determine precisely how much attention was spent on-screen during the preshow. Among 18–34-year-olds, 26 seconds of a 30 second ad was viewed in theaters where just 9 seconds of attention would be given to CTV. It's simple, the most elusive demo in media often only puts their phones down at the movies, including during the preshow. To #AlwaysBuyCinema is to maximize attention on the spots you need people to see. Phenomenal reporting by Ian Sandwell for Digital Spy on a very hot topic for the industry! Comscore, Inc.'s senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian told Digital Spy that while a move to "more dynamic theatrical windows" was accelerated by the pandemic, it hasn't quite been as dire as cinema owners had feared. "This move did not signal a death knell for cinemas, but rather put a spotlight on the value of a 'theatrical first' release with the prestige and desirability increase that a cinema release imparts to every film that lands on the big screen," he explained. "Let's be clear, 'dynamic' means that there is no 'one size fits all' model for every film and that a more curated approach depending on a movie's ongoing popularity – or lack thereof – is beneficial to both studios and exhibitors. "That said, the conventional wisdom that a quicker digital release can hurt a film's box office potential is indeed true if that length of time is unreasonably short as to cause an 'I'll wait for the home video' [reaction] on the part of moviegoers. "However, every movie has its own unique demographic appeal, playability and there have been many instances where films have had shortened windows yet moviegoers still opted in for the in-cinema experience." As noted by Dergarabedian, The Fall Guy – which was available to buy or rent in the US after 19 days, the Universal standard – was still fifth at the US box office the weekend after its digital release. Why does it take 20 Pros to create a beautiful commercial? Well, let’s take a walk through the set. Lester Platt and STLL STUDIOS are all working seamlessly together. And every crew member knows what they need to get done to get the ball rolling. Yuliia Alexander helped cast great actors to reflect principal brand’s target audience. Dina K. designed visually appealing set that helps to showcase the product in its ideal environment. Spencer Greene setup beautiful lighting and made sure the camera angles highlighted the most valuable features of the product. Olexiy Kryvych directed actors to evoke genuine emotions of happiness, while using the product. Chloe Singer did a great deal of work to prepare the team and location for the production day. Lester Platt produced the show and ensured a successful outcome for the client. So the set was running like a Swiss watch at Stray Vista Studios And everyone was taking care of intricate details to make sure the big shots are absolutely on point. Especially Ace Patel and Nate Strayer, running the virtual volume at the largest virtual production in Texas. Film crew is truly one of the best examples of great team work. Self distribution without relying on a traditional distributor gives you more control over your film’s marketing, pricing, and distribution channels, but it also requires more work, effort, and resources. Reach your target audience directly while building a loyal audience.. Retain more creative and financial rights over your film and the revenue streams. Experiment with different platforms and strategies to find what works best for your project. Some challenges you will be facing are: You have to handle all the aspects of distribution: securing rights, booking theaters, creating promotional materials, and managing online presence. You have to compete with other films for attention and visibility in a crowded market. You have to invest time and money upfront https://lnkd.in/ewYzecm2
