As a child, growing up with feminism on the rise, days such as International Women's Day (IWD) gave promise and hope for equality in the workplace. Over the years, although I have personally experienced equal opportunity and had tremendous opportunity for growth, I am still aware of a large gap in society and in the workplace. This is the big unspoken gap that exists between working mothers and working women. Today on International Women's Day 2024, here is a reminder that womenhood is not always motherhood.
